Pharmacy Board Results are Out!
Congratulations SSPPS Class of 2019!
Pharmacy board exam results are out! Congratulations to the UC San Diego Skaggs School of Pharmacy’s Pharm.D. Class of 2019 for continuing SSPPS’s excellent performance: SSPPS scored the highest out of all California schools on both the NAPLEX (100%) and CPJE (tied with Western)! Our alumni are exceptionally well trained and educated as they enter their career into the pharmacy profession. Congratulations on yet another successful year!
The NAPLEX, or North American Pharmacist Licensure Examination, measures a candidate’s knowledge of the practice of pharmacy. It is just one component of the licensure process and is used by the boards of pharmacy as part of their assessment of a candidate’s competence to practice as a pharmacist.
The CPJE, or California Practice Standards and Jurisprudence Examination for Pharmacists, is an additional examination that the state of California requires for pharmacist licensure and is used within the state to ensure candidates have a strong understanding and knowledge of pharmaceutical law.
